Featured Women Artists

Our Mission

This catalogue raisonee is dedicated to highlighting women artists whose works are held in the permanent collection of the NMSU Art Gallery. The students of ART478- Women in Art started this project in the Fall of 2016 under the supervision of Dr. Elizabeth Zarur. The research has been collected by Jennifer Abeyta, Felicia Castro, Carleen Cirillo, Saul Ramirez, Latha Sankaran and Jesus Zubia. We hope this will be the beginning of a more comprehensive documentation of work by women artists in this collection.
